Will began inspecting homes under the guidance of his mentor, fellow home inspector John Bury of Big State Home Inspections. He attended Champions School of Real Estate’s intensive inspection training program and is licensed by TREC. He is currently a member of InterNachi, (The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and has preformed countless fee-paid structural home inspections. Will is also licensed to perform termite inspections by the Texas Department of Agriculture.
Will started working in industrial maintenance for the plastics industry at a young age with his father. He was involved in areas such as plumbing, electrical, fabrication and mechanical systems. When Will transitioned into home inspection, he trained with two different home inspectors to obtain even more experience.
When not inspecting homes Will enjoys wood working and working on his own home. He is consistently taking continuing education classes well beyond the state required minimum.
John attended Champions School of Real Estate and was licensed by TREC in 2006. He began inspecting homes under the guidance of his mentor, friend and home inspector Ruben Trevino. He is an active member of InterNachi and the Texas Association of Real Estate Inspectors (San Antonio).
After 4 years in the Navy he worked full time, had a family and attended night school and graduated with a Bachelor of Business degree from Kent State University.
John, who is also licensed to perform WDI (wood destroying insect) inspections by the Texas Department of Agriculture, spent many years working in the pest control industry. This experience gives him the extra edge in helping to identify and advise you about both active and conducive conditions.
John enjoys golf, mentoring, spending time with family and doing home inspections. Also, if it breaks he can usually fix it. (unless it’s a watch).
Kevin’s professional interest in Real Estate began in 2001 serving as a Certified Real Estate Appraiser and as a real estate investor mostly in single family rental properties. As an investor, he learned the importance and financial impact of recognizing and accounting for home deficiencies that “exist beneath the surface”. After one Real Estate Inspection course at Champions School of Real Estate, he decided to enroll in the full Inspector curriculum to become licensed to provide professional guidance to other investors.
Kevin began inspecting homes under the guidance of his mentor, fellow home inspector John Bury of Big State Home Inspections. He is currently a member of InterNachi, (The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and has performed countless fee-paid structural home inspections. He is also an active member of the Lifestyles Unlimited real estate investment group and has himself invested in several single and multi-family properties.
Kevin earned his BS Degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1997.
When not inspecting homes, Kevin enjoys finding and working on his own real estate investments, spending time with his family, and playing his guitar (with limited skills!). He consistently completes continuing education classes well beyond the state required minimum.
